SLS provides high quality Business English training programmes to a variety of International companies, government organisations and private individuals. SLS is highly skilled in designing and tailoring to the needs of the clients. For the first time during 2007 this developed into a partnership by supplying in-house trainers for clients, who can provide them with a wide range of language services. These services included Inter Alia language courses, short brush up or focus lessons, level and needs checking and interactive writing programs which all take place at the clients’ site. In addition, we have language trainers who facilitate with in-house resume and document checking; interview techniques and oral examinations for recruitment and placement purposes.

In the corporate field SLS takes pride in providing clients with experienced Cambridge qualified examiners/ teachers who are capable of analysing their needs from the very beginning and tailoring the programs for a more effective result.

Our highly skilled staff allows for a more effective International communication. The focus point is on the needs of the modern executive and the special communication skills required such as Intercultural Awareness, Effective Presentations, etc.

SLS has both the capability to offer these classes at the client’s office at a mutually convenient time, or at home for students who enjoy studying in the privacy of their own homes. In addition, we also offer the opportunity to train in a more academic environment in Central Tokyo ­ at Shane Academy. The Academy is equipped with large rooms and a perfect place for students who which to study in a “out of company” environment. Training can be provided either on a group basis, one-to-one on a regular schedule or on an intensive training basis. Furthermore, we are able to provide benchmarking services through Cambridge BULATs speaking and writing examinations.

In line with the traditions of Shane English Schools Japan as a pioneer of teaching English to young learners, SLS has sent many native English speaking teachers to kindergartens, primary schools and other educational institutions over the last 10 years. Another significant activity that took place in 2007 was the support of a major language college. SLS provided them with teachers who assisted in exam-based courses and preparation courses for studying abroad. In addition to the above, SLS teachers support events, demonstration lessons, camps and other valuable community related activities.
